Mississippi Governor Pardons Murderers

According to news reports that have now gone viral, in his last few days in office, Mississippi governor, Haley Barbour, granted full pardons to 199 people, including several people convicted of murder. Four of the men who had previously been convicted of murder and received full pardons were actually released from prison on Sunday. It has been reported that the families of the victims killed by the pardoned prisoners have expressed outrage by the governor’s decision to see fit to let them go.
